  • On Thursday evening 29th July at Bovey Tracey, Tony Sandelance and Phil Irish won the section five unbadged pairs beating Tyler Smith and Alistair Franklin 23-11. Well done guys, good luck in the out of section game.

  • On Thursday 23rd July Phil Lannon won the Section 5 Over 60 singles beating Pete Neal from Teignmouth Den in a tense final 21-20. Phil had to come from behind to win the match. Well done Phil, a great fightback. Good luck in the out of section games.

  • The minutes of the latest Management Meeting held at the clubhouse on Monday 22nd June are now on the website and can be found under the Members Area webpage. This is password protected. If you wish to request access to this page please contact the website administrator through the Contact Us webpage.

  • Abbrook Park have been invited to submit three players for this years Coronation Cup. This competition is between the eight sections that make up the county. Our section, Section 5, will be taking on Section 7 at Plymouth Sir Francis Drake BC in the quarter final of this knock-out trophy on Sunday 21st June 2026. This is the first time in recent memory that we have been requested to participate. Well done and good luck to Phil Lannon, Rob Horrell and Kev Taylor.

  • Congratulations to Nigel Coombes who on Wednesday 10th June in winning in his unbadged triples this evening achieved the required number of points to qualify for his county badge. Well done Nigel.

  • Congratulations to Mike Russell who on Tuesday 3rd June partnering Ian Hiller, won a County Pairs match at Newton Abbot BC. In so doing Mike reached the thirty points required to qualify for his County Badge. Well done Mike.

  • Congratulations to Anne Russell who, following trials, is one of twenty-four ladies selected to represent the county in this year’s Johns Trophy. Anne, a three time winner of this tournament will be representing her county for the sixth successive year. I am sure that all at the club wish Anne and the team every success in this years competition.
